First love
First love is often built on illusions — on the desire to believe in something pure, absolute, and enduring. The encounter with reality can shatter these ideals, exposing the painful distance between what we imagine love to be and what it reveals itself to be.
Fragments of scarlet and deep red collide within a fragile framework, punctuated by traces of gold. The composition evokes the violence of disillusionment: the moment when an ideal breaks apart, leaving behind scattered pieces of desire, expectation, and belief. Gold becomes a fleeting reminder of what once seemed precious, now caught among the fragments of a collapsing illusion.
The painful loss of innocence that occurs when love ceases to be an ideal and becomes reality.
