Poubelle · Chapter VII
Suicide
I was pretty, I was sexy, I was smart, I was funny, I was adventurous, I was for you, with you, I was your shadow but I became nothing-nothing-nothing…
This chapter addresses the moment when identity itself begins to dissolve. The text reflects a voice that once held confidence, beauty, humor, and devotion — a voice that gradually disappears in the shadow of another person. The work examines how emotional dependence and loss of self can create a psychological void.
Rather than presenting a literal act, Suicide becomes a metaphor for the symbolic disappearance of identity within relationships.
The series asks a painful question: how much of ourselves can we give away before nothing remains?
